While we have tried to explain the glory of this display, to fully appreciate the beauty, please take a moment to watch the short 2.5 minute video clip of the 2001 project.

In October of 2000, we were approached and asked to provide a Christmas light display for a large private residence. Despite the short notice, we were able to get the materials needed to create a large installation and finish in time for the owner's holiday party featuring the Rockettes.
The trees flanking the driveway were animated with cross-fading red and white spirals, and columns around the house were uplit in red and green. A cluster of blue and white snowflakes hung over the front door, and the roof was outlined in white. A snowman family smiled in the night, and Santa was there with his reindeer.
The owner, pleased as could be with the installation, asked us to top this for 2001 with something bigger, better and bluer (his favorite color).

On January 2nd, 2002, the New York Post reported "[The owner] responded this year with a light-and-sound spectacle that drew amazed onlookers from all over the county. 'I've never seen anything like it,' one local told PAGE SIX. 'It was so popular that traffic cops had to be brought in to handle all the cars that came to see it.' "
Planning for "Christmas Spectacular 2001" began in July as a project without boundaries. The first presentation, a "working" toy factory, with toy soldiers and santa's elves, was received by the owner with great enthusiasm; however following the events of September 11th we split the storyline into two parts: the joy of Christmas and peace on earth. The finished product was a lighting installation synchronized to music that viewers could tune into from their car's FM radio.
With over 36,000 lights in the 2001 installation, it is almost impossible to put into words the effect that was created. The (22) 40-foot high trees along the driveway were draped with 18,000 red, green and blue lights. Over the driveway a custom designed 20-foot high feature had Santa's elves tossing Christmas packages to each other, finally sending them down a 250-foot conveyer belt. Across the front of the house, a giant, 16-foot diameter earth with a 42-foot banner read "Peace on Earth". The roof sparkled with a 12-foot star and two heralding angels. Based on a favorite memory of the owner, a hand-woven blanket of 4,000 mini lights with a green wreath and red bow crowned the front door.
It took a crew of twelve people four weeks to install the design and over 100 hours to complete the synchronized program.
