Having been fascinated with light from the age of 6, Sepp Spenlinhauer has spent his entire life exploring its properties. After lighting the plays in grade school, he was the only student given control of a capitol budget to improve the lighting in his high school theatre. In order to further his lighting knowledge, he went to Ithaca College receiving a BFA in Technical Theatre and Art in 1992 and then an MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design in 1998.
The years between 1992 and 1998 were spent wowing the senses with light in the world of nightclubs. In the subsequent four years as a designer at Focus Lighting in New York City, Sepp collaborated on extraordinary projects including the Tribeca Grand Hotel, the flagship Toys"R"Us store in Times Square and the Crayola Works Studio and Store. Using his understanding of the quality of light and extensive experience with technology, Sepp brings forth unique designs and exact solutions for every project.
With twenty successful years in lighting design, his distinction for pushing the limits of innovative ideas in the lighting industry has launched him into his ultimate creative endeavor: eclectic precision.
