Brian Fassett received his BFA in Theatrical Lighting Design and Production from the North Carolina School of the Arts in 1998.

After touring the world as a Field Installation Supervisor for major retail stores, he spent six years working in New York City for Barbizon Lighting Company. As Barbizon's Senior Systems Technician, he developed lighting control systems for permanent installations including the Hayden Planetarium, Central Synagogue, and Metrochannel Studios in New York City. He later transitioned to Project Manager for Barbizon’s New York Systems Division and oversaw lighting installations for such projects as Fox News Studios, National Constitution Center , Morgan Stanley Studios and the new Seven World Trade Center.

Brian took a break from Barbizon in 2004 and decided to “give back”.  He accepted an opportunity to work for Bette Midler and her Gertrude Jeckyl Foundation as the Director of Arts and Theater.  In this role he worked closely with New York City public schools renovating facilities and creating arts and performing arts programs within the public school system.

Brian now works full time with Eclectic Precision as Designer and Project Manager.  Brian's skillful management and his insightful reasoning make him a trusted advisor to his clients and the Eclectic Precision team. With over 19 years experience in the lighting industry, Brian's passion for lighting design, coupled with his technical ability, allows him to bring clients' initial ideas to successful implementation, often exceeding expectations.
